Meeting details will be sent in due course. \nRSVP: \nPlease RSVP to Jarrod Warren (jwarren (at) thiess.com.au) by Friday 1st of September 2023. \nAbout Mt Arthur South: \nLocated five kilometres south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales\, Mt Arthur Coal is an open cut mine\, producing thermal coal. \nThiess has supported BHP at Mt Arthur Coal since 2017\, first providing load and haul services and then additional mining services\, including mining overburden and coal\, mine design\, planning and scheduling services and drill and blast operations at the southern end of the operation. \nIn 2019\, BHP expanded its agreement and the scope of Thiess’ operations to include statutory responsibility for its operation as mine operator of the southern end of the Mt Arthur Coal operations (the Ayredale and Roxburgh Pits). \nThiess has a long history in the Hunter Valley (dating back more than 80 years) and provides mining services at three mines\, including Mt Arthur Coal. \nCommitted to offering full-time employment options in the region for employees\, Thiess has a proven track record working with both the community and local suppliers.
