BOHOGS will be hosting a site visit at Foxleigh Mine (QLD) on Wednesday 1st of July, 2026.
Site visit numbers are limited so please only RSVP if you are going to attend. If you have RSVP’d and can’t attend, let us know ASAP.
The technical session will be streamed online. Online meeting link to be sent few days before event to all members, via email.

Site Access: recommended time 10:30am
PPE required – Hart hat, work boots, glasses, high vis. We will have some spares, but hopefully people can bring their own.

- 10:30am to 11:00am – Travel to Administration and carry out site induction training
- 11:00am to 1:00pm – Technical presentations:
- 11:00am to 11:20am – Site overview including geology (Tim Cartledge)
- 11:20am to 11:40am – Foxleigh geotechnical challenges and mitigation measures (Tim Cartledge)
- 11:40am to 12:00pm – World Sensing presentation (Neil Cunnington)
- 12:00pm to 1:00pm – Crown Pillar Failure Case Study (Alex Hossack)
- 1:00pm to 2:00pm – Lunch
- 2:00pm to 4:00pm – Pit tour
- 4:00pm to 4:30pm – Travel to Main Gate
- 4:30pm – Conclusion of site visit

About Foxleigh Mine:
Foxleigh is an open cut, truck and excavator operation, producing premium low volatile PCI coal. Located in the Bowen Basin of central Queensland, Foxleigh currently produces approximately 3 Mt of premium PCI metallurgical coal. The coal is transported by rail to Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal near Mackay, then shipped to our international customers.
