BOHOGS Site Visit to Saraji Mine

BOHOGS hosted a technical meeting and site tour at Saraji mine this week. Along with a series of technical presentations and a site tour, it was a great opportunity for open cut geotechnical engineers to share experiences and liaise with like minded professionals. The day finished with social networking event at the Moranbah Golf Club. Thanks to the BMA Geotechnical Services team for organising and hosting the event!

BOHOGS Technical Forum in Brisbane

BOHOGS hosted its AGM and a Technical Forum in Brisbane on Thursday 28th November, 2024. We had 32 people in person and up to 20 people online! The event was followed by a few social drinks and refreshments. We'd like to thank Alison McQuillan, Jiwoo Ahn and Neil Cunnington for their presentations!

Moranbah Technical Meeting on Geotechnical Issues In Coking Coal Stockpiles

BOHOGS hosted a Technical Event in Moranbah on the 22nd of October 2024, where Dr John Eckersley presented on Geotechnical Issues In Coking Coal Stockpiles. The event had 20 people in person attendees and 45+ online. The event was followed by a few social drinks and refreshments. We'd like to thank John for his time in collating/presenting and for travelling up to Moranbah to present for BOHOGS members and a few coal mining companies CHPP personnel.
