As agreed when we began this journey of amalgamating the QLD and NSW branches, it's time to nominate candidates for the 2015 - 2016 committee. Firstly, we are pleased to announce that the amalgamation of the BBOCGS & HOGS groups has now been registered officially with Office of Fair Trading and we are now operating as the combined Bowen Hunter Opencut Geotechnical Society (or BOHOGS for short). The first meeting of the newly established BOHOGS took place on the 24th & 25th September with 16 attendees for both the Caval Ridge mine tour and the GALENA training in central Queensland.   BOHOGS attendees for the Caval Ridge mine tour.
